Hi and thanks for stopping by.

My name is Richard Frankson. Folks call me Dicky. I decided to waste some bandwidth and throw this out here.

I live in Skokie, Illinois and was born in Chicago on October 14, 1960. I've lived in the Chicago area all of my life. I enjoy smoking fine cigars, drinking good beer (usually Sierra Nevada Pale Ale), and the company of good friends and family.

One thing I particularly enjoy doing is relaxing at our family's cabin up in the north woods of Wisconsin.

I have a page dedicated to it. If you would like to visit it, click here.

To pay the bills, I repair banking equipment. This includes coin sorters / counters, currency counters, check encoders, check protectors, microfilm machines, and just about anything else you see on the counter behind the teller line at most banks.

The name of the firm I work for is AEI which stands for Abbott Enterprises Inc. We are based out of Wheeling, IL. They have been in this business for about 20 years.

I am married to a wonderful woman named Nancy. She was born in Hong Kong and raised in Vietnam. During the war, she worked for the US Embassy. She was part of the US evacuation that we have all seen from the news footage. She flew from the roof of the embassy in a helicopter and was transported to an aircraft carrier called the USS John Hancock. From there, she rode the carrier to Guam, then flew from there to Hawaii. She eventually settled in Chicago where I met her.

I have two children, Mark and Carolyn. They are 4 and 5 years old respectively. If you would like to see them, click here.
